Big names. Small prices.
Overstock Liquidation is happy to offer Peterborough and the Kawartha region brand name products for liquidation prices. We’re open to the public Friday to Sunday every week, and invite you to come on in and save some money!
We first opened our doors on Labour Day Weekend in 2013, and since that time we’ve developed a loyal following of bargain hunters who know a good deal when they see it! We appreciate our customers and wish to thank everyone for your patronage!
The way we operate is very exciting. We receive three truckloads of new, overstock products every week. We never know exactly what we’ll receive! What we do know, is that they’re quality items and we’ll price them low to move them fast. Our merchandise is always changing.
Overstock Liquidation is locally owned and operated by Jason and Sheryl Over. We love shopping and finding deals ourselves, so naturally we absolutely love helping our customers find bargains. All of our staff members are friendly, approachable, and more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
We hope to see you soon!

Meet our staff
Sheryl and her husband, Jay, are the proud parents of three children. Their oldest son, Quinten, has special needs, and they always worried about what he would do when he finished school. Among many reasons, Sheryl opened the doors to Overstock Liquidation in 2013 so that he would have a place to work and be part of the community post-graduation. Before opening the store, Sheryl was a resource teacher at Five Counties Children’s Centre. The decade she spent there, along with her extensive background in Early Childhood Education and Special Needs, equipped Sheryl with the knowledge and passion to integrate the special needs community into the heart of her store. She continues to raise money for housing for adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities, and often delivers public speeches on behalf of local committees. She feels very blessed to work with a wonderful team of staff members who are dedicated to making Overstock a success, and embrace their co-workers with special needs.
As a recent graduate from Fleming’s Business Accounting program, Caitlyn is fluent in the language of numbers. This valuable quality, along with a keen aptitude for efficiency and organization, makes her an ideal fit for the position of administration manager at Overstock, a role that she’s been gracefully juggling alongside her studies for nearly two years. A natural multi-tasker, Caitlyn also finds time to work at the Peterborough zoo in a supervisory role, drive back and forth to her hometown of Ottawa to visit family and friends, and even enjoy a good book every now and again. Her fiancé and cat support her every step of the way.
Supervisor of receiving
Faith started at Overstock after graduating from the pre-service firefighting program at Fleming College in 2016. Eager to work in a hands-on environment, she quickly fell into stride alongside her fellow staff members, and was happy to accept a leadership role not long after. Passionate about offering excellent customer service, Faith enjoys dealing with the colourful variety of shoppers that visit the store, and loves helping them find the best deals possible. In her spare time, Faith hikes, camps, and travels with her wife and their quirky pets. She currently lives in Bancroft, Ontario.
After retiring from a rewarding career of 32 years, Kathryn began seeking new ways to fill her time. Her resolute hard-working nature led her to Overstock Liquidation – and she hasn’t left. Her role as floor manager allows her to interact closely with both customers and her fellow staff members, and she’s loved every minute. When she’s not hauling product and mingling with shoppers, Kathryn can be found practicing yoga and lounging at the end of her dock. She lives on a lake with her fabulous husband, Paul, and her devoted puppy, Calie, who loves spending time at Overstock almost as much as she does.
Kim’s long history of waitressing has made her Overstock’s most cherished “people person”. When her more recent role as a lock attendant became less than enjoyable, Kim decided it was time to pursue a new adventure. Once an avid shopper at Overstock, she decided to take the plunge and apply when she saw the store was hiring – and it couldn’t have worked out any better. Her friendly, positive attitude is equally matched by a reliable sense of duty and a keen eye for organization, making her an invaluable asset to the team. She’s well known amongst her colleagues as the one who “stays late to help out” and never with a single complaint. Still, Kim finds plenty of time to relax, garden, and renovate her home in Norwood. She’s married to a wonderful man, who helps her shower their dogs and their new grandson with plenty of love.
A winning team
The Overstock Liquidation team wouldn't be the same without these smiling faces! Whether they're organizing product or keeping the store spic and span, this hard-working bunch helps ensure operations run smoothly.
Congratulations to Brandon and the Ontario Special Olympics Soccer Team who just won Gold at the Special Olympics Canadian National games in Nova Scotia! We're so proud of you! Brandon and his Dad, Andrew, are employees of Overstock Liquidation.
